I maintain my own directoy list for paid and free web directory submissions, however once in a while i use a few complementing lists that help me with my website promotion.

One such list is the Strongest Directories List, managed and maintained by Jeff

This has to be one of the most comprehensive and a true “Strongest Directories” list that has very credible and updated content.

The list was created by Jeff to answer the common question; “What are the best directories to pay to submit my website to?”

This is a list of web directories sorted as per the web strength rating given by the Page Strength Tool developed by the guys over at SEOMoz.

The Page Strength Tool may not be near perfection but almost gets there (we dont have a better one at the moment), it determines a link value by analyzing it against some set parameters.

Jeff has used this tool to determine the link worth of web directories and has listed them in a decending order.

A very useful resource for webmaster looking for the best and strongest directories to submit too.

I do a mix and a match to select the best directories to submit to as i work with a limited budget. You can also use this list to find directories that suit your budget and now you dont have to go scavenging for the best directories.
