SutraDirectory.com: The Beginning

If you guy didnt know, i am working on starting a premium paid directory: SutraDirectory.com <<< Now this one is my baby

~ Yup, i just love that name :-)

I was speculating on which script i would use for the directory, thought of using PHPld for this one but i guess its difficult to shrug of old habbits.

So once again it’s going to be Hakon’s IndexScript, simply because i like that man and his script.

The script is fast developing into something that every directory owner would want, the mod fancies might not be there but Hakon is sure generous enough to listen to our demands and has promised to accomodate a detail page and a multiple link submission feature in the coming releases.

Indexscript is a one man show and that man is very dependable.

I have finished installing Indexscript and also Hakon was generous enough to agree to code the custom template that i have made for the directory.

It would be a few weeks before i get the coded template but then i didnt want to waste my time and i have already started building the categories.

I am not uploading any category dunp as i want this to be as unique as possible and so i am manually adding the categories, descriptions and keywords for each category. (Yup its a lot of manual work)

Also, personally i hate empty directories so i am planning to add upto 3K authority links to get started.

So technically i have atleast 1K links, now i need to go find the rest of the 2K links for my directory. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Would do a free run in webby forums sometime later, but officially will be launching it after around 3 months.

Plan to add some more content (maybe an arcade ??), but then thats another long story.

Priority 1:

Lets see if i can keep the directory pages out of the google supplemental indexes.

Will shot some healthy links from my blog network to try and keep the pages out of the supplemental.

Too many idea at the moment and not much time in hand, will update you guys once i finish adding the 1K links or once i get the new skin uploaded. ;-)
