Well I agree that PHPld does house a inbuilt captcha for preventing the bots from making automatic submissions, but then now you have a better option.

This is the new anti spam mod created for PHPld by Boby that claims to be easy for humans to read and nearly impossible for robots.

I especially like its ability to refresh that can be handy if the captcha is totally unreadable (some PHPld dirs test my sense of guessing more than my eyesight).
