IVS: Going tough for a cause

This is the evolution list that has seen many change and has by far been the best avilable free web directory list.

Dan at IVS has once again made it clear that he is a front runner and leads by example by making the latest announcement that would change the face of the free web directory list.

After going through the directories that we re-added to the list last update and finding quite a few of them who have some terrible sites listed, we are going to be manually reviewing each sites content, to determine whether an editorial quality guideline is being met.

So basically all the useless directories will be weeded out and the list that comes out of this excercise would be worth spending our time on.

Remember that the purpose of a free directory submission is in itself defeated if the quality of the directory is in question.

Ask this question to yourself, why do you submit to a directory?

For a QUALITY backlink to help you improve your SERPs.

And why would you submit if the backlink that you get is not counted as a healthy backlink or not counted at all.

This excercise may draw a lot of critism, but remember that people tend to resent change.

Dan has my support and I would suggest that you use his free directory list for your submissions.
