Directory Network

Yup as i am full fledged venturing into the directory business, i am now planning to start a network of web directories. :-)

The number that seems to be stuck in my head is around 10 quality directories.

So how do i monetize such a network ?

Well i plan to sell bulk links at a very attractive premium.

Say, 15$ for an approved submission in all the directories.

The concept is very similiar to a blog networks but much better.

How ?

Firstly, the biggest problem wih blog networks is that of “Duplicate Content”

To avoid this i plan to keep the free link channel open so i can build a unique link database for each and every directory within the network.

Reviewing can be a while but i guess a few hours of wok will be enough for sorting our the free submission review queue.

And yes these are not going to be graveyard directories as i would subsequently add more features, maybe a few webmaster tool, stuff like that so that i get some real visitors.

And when i say quality directories i would mean:
1. Seperate branding
2. No dropped domains
3. Seperate ip’s
4. Seperate link database
5. Moderate link building campaign

and “Real Visitors”

The script i plan to use is PHPld, ahh finally

Will start of with the free version: PHPld 2.1.2 and upgrade then to the latest version in the future.

I guess i could use my PHPld licence that has been just lying around for quite some time now.

The domains will/ have been registered at Godady and hope to have the directories ready in a few months.
