So is it in context of research or are the Bid Directory scripts turning on the heat on PHPld, the most popular directory script.

The Directory Script market is majorly controlled by PHPld but with the bid directory concept catching heat, PHPld could actually be losing out on its market share. ;-)

There are practically hundreds of Bid Directories out there and fast multiplying as i wirite this.

Now this must have got David thinking and i did manage to catch him for some infomation as I had read in some forums that the PHPld bid directory verison was released.

Well as per David, they still dont have a official release on the phpLD site yet.

Its more of a viral marketing approach this time and well in case of PHPld, it won’t take much time for the fire to spread about their latest bid version of PHPld as the PHPld user base is massive.

So if you are one of the PHPld fans, you ought to try out this.

This would have the regular PHPld link directory functionality with an added link bid feature.

The news is yet to catch up but the effort to accomodate the Bid version of PHPld has already started and we already have directory owners recoding the templates to accomodate this new and interesting feature.
